Sources and licences

Every fact on this site comes from a source you can check. Here is where our information comes from and how you may reuse it.

Updated:

This site is an independent, free guide to Esperanto. Grammar explanations follow the official foundation of the language and the most complete modern reference grammar. Facts about history, speakers and culture link to their sources on each page.

How we write

  • Every page answers one question directly and links to the sources of its facts.
  • Disputed numbers, such as the number of Esperanto speakers, are shown as a range with each estimate, its method and its year.
  • Examples are checked against the Fundamento and PMEG. Pages show the date of their last update.

Found a mistake? Every page has a date and sources so you can check us; corrections make the guide better for everyone.
