good luck in Esperanto

“Good luck” in Esperanto is Bonŝancon! (bohn-SHAHN-tsohn), from bonŝanco “good luck” (bona “good” + ŝanco “chance”). The -n is there because the wish is short for “(I wish you) good luck”. Another very common wish is Sukceson! “Success!”, which suits exams and tests.
