Esperanto travel phrases: hotel, food, transport

Book a room, order dinner, buy a ticket and ask the way – all in Esperanto.

Updated: 2 min read

These phrases cover the situations every traveller meets: arriving at a hotel, eating out, buying tickets, finding the way, shopping and getting help. You will use them mostly with Esperanto speakers: at congresses, with hosts or in local clubs. Pronunciation guides split words into syllables, with the stressed syllable in capitals.
